Deep Bay Harbour is located on Vancouver Island, area population 3,000. It is located 70 km North of Nanaimo with the closest SCH facility being Fanny Bay harbour, 20km north-west. The harbour is the homeport to 15 commercial, 19 aquaculture, and 100 recreational vessels. Deep Bay is located in the center of one of the most protected shellfish growing areas on the Pacific Coast.
