Fairview Harbour lies at the foot of Park Avenue about 1.5 kilometers south of the downtown core of Prince Rupert BC (pop. 18 000). The facility consists of two sets of interconnected floats accessed by two separate gangways and approaches. It is protected by a rock mound breakwater to the south and a floating pipe breakwater to the west.
